This past weekend and the final weekend of June 29 and 30 were warm in St. Petersburg, despite weather warnings for rain. While the latter didn’t make it past the city center, it still didn’t make it to St. Petersburg’s 300th Anniversary Park, potentially ruining the VK Fest 2024 event that was taking place there—a gathering place for artists, influencers, streamers, athletes, and music fans.
These days, 70 musicians performed on three different stages, from Wildways, Cream Soda and Eldzhey to HammAli & Navai, Macan, Dima Bilan and Basta, and for the first time participated in the music program “Three Days of Rain” by Eva Polna. and 25/17. There were also some high-profile premieres, where new tracks were presented by Eldzhey and Anikv, Macan and Scirena.
But those who consider the performances of the artists far from the main thing, had something to do on the festival grounds. From noon to late evening for all guests of VK Fest 2024 there were zones “Technology”, “Video Games”, “Family”, “Drive”, “Creativity”, “Entertainment”, “Sports” and “Cosplay”, where lectures, exams, workshops and even other events, including sports competitions, were held. Also in the “Conference Hall” from the Russian society “Knowledge”, where stylist Alexey Sukharev spoke about fashion trends, your favorite speakers were “Who doesn’t love the Hermitage?” At the event, the general director of the museum Mikhail Piotrovsky and comedian Evgeny Chebatkov spoke, and world champion Alina Zagitova also spoke to the audience about beauty, femininity and strength in sports.
Another point of interest for the guests of VK Fest 2024 was the influencer zone – meetings with bloggers were held here, content creation lessons were held, and your modest editors worked in their own corner behind the scenes, playing “Truth or Dare” with social network stars.

What now? Anxious wait for the festival in Moscow, which promises to be no worse, to be held in Luzhniki on July 13 and 14.
