Where to go: Sixth Film Festival opens in Yekaterinburg

Stanislav Svetlov’s “Island” opened a series of film screenings at the festival. This is the story of a girl and her mother from a small town, where they both find their happiness without leaving their homes. Audiences also had the opportunity to watch the first two films of the festival’s competition program: the South Korean drama Ajoomma (“Auntie”) and the documentary melodrama directed by Celine Pernet Man Caves (Switzerland).

On the second day of the show, viewers will watch the comedy “Fugitive Father” directed by Alexei Yuzhakov and starring Mikhail Troynik. Many stars are expected at the meeting, including KION producer Igor Mishin, Svetlana Kamynina, Elizaveta Ishchenko, Daria Kharchenko, Vasilina Yuskovets, Marina Kaletskaya, Alexandra Revenko, Maria Matsel, actors Daniil Gazizulin, Arthur Sopelnik and others.
