In the next episode: the most anticipated TV series of the summer

Summer promises to be hot, and it’s not just the weather we mean. Beware, precipitation is possible in the form of many series premieres not to be missed. Let’s talk about them!


June


Nancy Drew Season 4 (June 1)

The long-awaited sequel to the story based on the famous comic about a young detective who unravels the dark secrets of his hometown. Cooling of the skin is guaranteed – you can’t even doubt it.


“Idol” (June 5)

It looks like it will be hot. Lily-Rose Depp and The Weeknd (one of the writers) in the drama from “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson. This is a story about a pop singer who is the owner of a nightclub and a part-time leader of a secret cult, and judging by the trailer, a very intimate story awaits us.


“A Crowded Room” (June 10)

Tom Holland and Amanda Seyfried are in a crime drama about the events of 1979, when a young man named Danny Sullivan was arrested for a shooting in Manhattan. He suffers from amnesia and denies his guilt. Inspector Riya Goodwin conducts a series of interviews with the client, delving into his past, learning the unusual details of his life and trying to understand what drove this seemingly harmless young man to crime.


The Walking Dead: City of the Dead (June 19)

A spin-off of The Walking Dead, set in the heart of a post-apocalyptic New York City where Negan Smith and Maggie Rhee encounter the dead and humans. The showrunner of the project was the producer and screenwriter of the original Eli Horn, and the main roles were played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan.


“Secret Invasion” (June 22)

A group of alien Skrulls are taking control of every aspect of human life, and it’s up to Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) to stop them. The series will also star Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Cobie Smulders and Martin Freeman.


“And Just Like” Season 2 (June 23)

It’s the sequel to the Sex and the City reboot, where we’ve been waiting for Aidan Shaw’s return, according to the footage.

What We Do in the Shadows Season 5 (July 14)

The three vampires continue to share the house, resolve family conflicts, search for love and fresh blood, they cannot live without him.

“Same Building Murders” season 3 (August 9)

Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short return to amateur investigations. This time, the death of actor Ben Glenroy, who punctuated his death in the second season, draws their attention. Meryl Streep is joining the cast!

“Acolyte” (August 12)

The new installment in the Star Wars franchise takes place in the final days of the rise of the Republic, nearly 100 years before the events of The Phantom Menace, “in a galaxy of dark secrets and the rising power of the dark side.” An old Padawan reunites with his master to investigate a series of crimes, but together they face forces more sinister than they ever imagined.


Ahsoka

Ahsoka Tano, a Jedi and former Padawan of Anakin Skywalker, pursues Admiral Thrawn in search of the missing Jedi Ezra Bridger. The Mandalorian spin-off from Dave Filoni, author of Boba Fett’s The Clone Wars and Rebels, starring Rosario Dawson.
