Then the innocent story came to a serious discussion about the standards of beauty in Russian aviation, the behavior of employees in emergency situations and fat burning within the crew.

Then it turned out to be this material. Believe me, not a single gossip about the heroes of our gossip has aroused so much interest among my colleagues as the story of a former stewardess about her previous job.

About Pilots with “God Syndrome”

As my aviation English teacher used to say, it’s bullshit that flight attendants sleep with pilots. Of course, such links are not excluded and are available. There are even families where the husband is the pilot and the wife is the flight attendant. But this is such an obscure and stupid plan that please let’s put this myth in the past.

Flight attendants and pilots are two warring castes. Because the latter wants pills twice (coffee capsules – Approximately. Ed), 1.5 grams of sugar, three drops of frothed milk, and sprinkle some cocoa on top. At the same time, flight attendants meet 28 business class passengers: they check their boarding passes and at the same time try to put the coats in a small wardrobe and not spill welcome drinks on them. We also have time to read flight information, sign documents, eat extra and not go crazy. We pursue different goals and priorities in flight.

I have great love and respect for all our pilots and the work they do. However, they do not really understand and do not take into account the volume of our resources. They sit in VIP cabins, away from the hustle and bustle of passengers and want a “twice pill …” simple person.

About emergencies

This happened while I was flying to Venice in a small Airbus A320. At the time, I had a senior flight attendant position, meaning I was responsible for everything that happened in flight and between the crew. It was already night and we started to descend. It was raining heavily outside the window. You could hear the drops hitting the wood, even though the plane was a fairly noisy mode of transport.

We come to stroke and we tremble a lot. I see fear in the eyes of the passengers: they are looking at us, we are looking at them, but of course there is no answer. I turn my head – I see that we are close to the ground and there is almost a “landing”, but at this time the commander again lifts the plane. Moreover, we get up at such an angle of inclination that everyone gathered in their chairs. I’m not a religious person, but that’s when I started believing in God. And as the second landing approach was taking place, the plane was struck by lightning. And the blow was so strong that the whole board was illuminated. For a moment, I saw the faces of absolutely all the passengers. The plane landed a second time.

About sex on the toilet

Having sex in the toilet on the plane is completely inconvenient, but in the presence of the wildest passion it is quite possible. I, the flight attendant, do not feel sorry at all – love is beautiful in all its manifestations. But remember that it is important to follow safety and public order rules when having sex on the plane:

– do not have sex with the “fasten your seat belt” sign on;

– do not use the toilet during popular hours, other passengers may need it more;

– do not disturb public order with loud conversations and/or involuntary sounds;

– Respect passengers who will go to the toilet later – Leave the toilet clean after you.

In our documents there are no prohibitions on the gender of passengers in the toilet, but we must try not to violate important rules of conduct on board.

Fat embarrassment on Russian airlines

It’s no secret that flight attendants go through a rigorous selection process when hired. The first thing to notice is the face. Let’s start with the fact that the skin should be absolutely perfect, without a single rash. Teeth – even without defects, braces and plates. Only aligners or lingual brackets fitted inside the jaw are allowed. Eyebrows – freshly plucked. And no one cares if you prefer the shaggy hair Cara Delevingne style.

There are even more questions about the figure. For some reason, Russian airlines love slender blondes and petite brunettes. When I weighed 55 kilograms, I came to work as a stewardess. My height is 173 cm – so I went through all aspects. But after a year of working in this mode, my hormonal background deviated and I visibly gained weight.

I must say right away that I am not fat, instead I just got a little bigger. However, the management did not miss the opportunity to point out to me that I was “not in shape” every time. And once my colleagues called me to the main office to weigh in. This was followed by threats such as “if you don’t get yourself in order, you will have to say goodbye”. Unfortunately, such stories are quite common in our aviation.

About the transport of prohibited substances

Flight attendants go through very serious training before they start working. For three months we had to understand dangerous goods, provide first aid, give birth, understand wine, use radio light, survive in the jungle, etc. taught. It also teaches (and for good reason) to determine from a person’s appearance and behavior whether they carry prohibited substances in them. One such courier was on my flight from Moscow to Rome once. Note if a person in flight is acting strangely or looking strange, namely:

All the signs are there. We dropped him off somewhere in Budapest, handed him over to the doctors, and flew off with a sense of accomplishment and a new story from the flight.
