Kate Middleton watches George, Charlotte and Louis play in a chariot at Windsor Castle

The Duchess of Cambridge was recently spotted playing in a horse-drawn carriage with her three children on the grounds of Windsor Castle.

Kate Middleton, 40, looked relieved watching her kids. Eight-year-old Prince George, six-year-old Princess Charlotte, and four-year-old Prince Louis got into a horse-drawn carriage and were patiently seen inside.

Wearing a casual brown midi dress and white sneakers, Kate, who shares three children with her husband, 39-year-old Prince William, looked like she was chatting with her children while sitting in the car in the Castle’s Quadrant.

Meanwhile, 32-year-old Princess Eugenie seemed to be nearby, holding her son August by the hand as he staggered a few paces across the gravel.

The undated clip shared online also appeared to show other members of the royal family, including Zara and Mike Tindall. It was unclear whether her children, eight-year-old Mia, three-year-old Lena, and one-year-old Lucas were present.

From the undated footage it is unclear which of the Queen’s other 12 great-grandchildren was there or whether the Duke of Cambridge was there.

In the front row of the car were two blond boys who might have been the great-grandchildren of Queen Savannah and Isla Philips.

Meanwhile, Zara and Mike, watching the children’s car, see a boy in their midst.

The family relationship was completed by a black dog running around and also seen under the fancy big car.

Social media users looked very pleased with the images, with some describing it as “awesome” and “cute”.

The images of the royal children in the carriages led others to guess that the relatives were preparing for a public appearance.

These images of the Cambridge children follow news that they will be playing the “star role” at the Queen’s platinum anniversary celebrations this summer.

According to the Telegraph, the trio are expected to play a “visible” role in celebrations marking the monarch’s 70th anniversary as part of a “royal spectacle”.

The young royal brothers are thought to be making their first cars for Trooping the Color and will likely be spotted on Buckingham Palace’s balcony across from the famous viaduct.

Queen Zara Tindall's niece and husband Mike also joined the group in the quadrangle, although it was unclear which of their children was ready.

William was four years old, the same age as his youngest son Louis, when he took his first car ride in 1988 with Princess Diana and the Queen Anne in Trooping of the Color.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are unlikely to confirm their child’s arrival until the last minute.

While final plans for the weekend are still being worked out, it is clear that William will be at the forefront of military affairs, including the week before the weekend, intervening for an official inspection of Her Majesty’s League of Colors.

Meanwhile, Kate will continue to teach children and help coordinate the Tower of London project Superbloom, which will be overflowing with hundreds of flowers and even a slide.

Elsewhere, Prince Charles will host a festive concert and a big luncheon with the Duchess of Cornwall.

Other members of the royal family including Prince Edward, Sophie Wessex, Princess Anne, Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will also take to the stage for the weekend.

His 96-year-old Highness will face fewer assignments than in previous anniversaries due to mobility issues.
