The Youth Culture Bonus will continue in 2023: everything about the check of 400 euros

Access to culture is something that should be essential for everyone, but especially for those young people who may not have the necessary resources to take full advantage of all the opportunities it offers. Well according to it is reported on the website of La Moncloa itself, Pedro Sánchez and all his government partners believe that young people who turn eighteen in 2023 can also benefit from this youth cultural bonus. They make this known in this press release The Ministry of Culture and Sport is already working on this Youth Culture Bonus 2023which “will be consolidated in the 2023 state general budget with a consignment of 210 million euros.”

In addition to reporting on the launch of this second call for the initiative – for which no date has been set yet – the La Moncloa website also provides information on the main products or cultural services in which young people have invested the most 400 euros. They ensure that until December 18, 2022 “purchases in specialized stores are mainly distributed, between cinema, video games, shows and books“.

This help has been very successful among the youngest population in all of Spain, such as the great reception is observed in the number of young people who have asked for it and the number of purchases made through the Youth Culture Bonus, which they could request until October 31, 2022 and spend the amount in one year – from the date of granting the support. Last year it was requested through its own website, but at the moment the process to follow to obtain it in 2023 has not been announced.

In addition to the cultural products and sectors mentioned above, young people can use the 400 euros of cultural products or services in the following way: 100 euros for physical products (books, video games, press, records…), 100 euros for digital products (digital press , podcast or online video games…) and 200 euros for performing arts and performances such as theatre, opera, cinema, dance or museums.
