Yakut directors’ short film was nominated for an Oscar

The documentary “Exit” by Evgenia and Maxim Arbugaev lasts 25 minutes and was shot in the Chukchi Sea. The film was nominated for an Oscar nomination in the Short Documentary category. By the way, Russia and England participated in its production.

The main character is biologist Maxim Chakilev, who lived for several months in a dilapidated house on the shore of the Chukchi Sea. His idyll was offended by the many walruses that Maxim began to watch. They also try to enter his house out of curiosity.

Meanwhile, the film has already won an award at the International Short Film Festival in Winterthur, Switzerland, which helped get the film nominated for an Oscar.
