At the beginning of the year, Nicolas Cage broke the good news to his fans – he and his wife, Riko Shibata, will become parents. On the eve of the actor, the gender of the unborn child was revealed.
“I’m going to have a little girl! I’m delighted! This is going to be the biggest adventure of my life. I’m so happy and excited to meet her,” admitted Nicolas Cage on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
He also talked about how he and Rico chose a name for the baby. “We decided to name him Lennon Augie. Ogie – after my father. I’ll call him Lenny for short,” the actor shared.
Note that Nicholas and Rico were first spotted together in 2020. A year later, the actor proposed to his girlfriend via FaceTime and sent a black diamond ring in the mail. A month later, the couple got married at the Wynn Casino in Las Vegas.
By the way, this is Cage’s fifth marriage. He was married to Patricia Arquette from 1995 to 2001, Lisa Marie Presley from 2002 to 2004, Alice Kim from 2004 to 2016, and Erica Koike for less than four days in 2019.
