Recently, Lyst released its annual report on the most popular brands, coveted products and memorable moments in the fashion world. The analysis was based on mentions on social networks, queries on search engines, as well as worldwide activity and engagement statistics.
According to Lyst, it’s easy to guess that Miu Miu is Brand of the Year, Diesel is nominated for Logo of the Year, and Jacquemus x Nike is the main collaboration title. Not without Copernicus. Dressing Bella Hadid in a “liquid” dress at the finale of the French brand’s fashion show was the most talked about moment in the industry this year.
Also, Lyst experts have identified a few promising brands worth keeping an eye on. The favorites list includes New York brand Luar, Sri Lankan Amesh and Lebanese Mônot.
And we decided to go even further and learned from the authors of popular Telegram channels that they see them as valuable players in the industry and try to follow their work.

Speaking of “young” talent, it’s probably worth mentioning right away that I’d like to skip Chopova Lowena, Knwls and Nensi Dojaka, the extravagant brands that have rightly taken their place in the fashion industry and have changed a lot with the pandemic. Today I’m going to talk about those that have just gained momentum and are finally starting to pay attention.

Simon Port Jacquemus, who apparently lost his touching and caring inspiration in 2018/2019, handed it over to Marcelo Gaia, the founder of Mirror Palais. And he’s using it in his own way. With her innate Italian aesthetic, the designer showcased her first spring-summer 2023 collection at New York Fashion Week. I want to see how your romantic style will develop further. I’m sure something interesting will happen.

If we talk about young talents, we can not do without the Chinese brand Didu. The founder of the brand, Dee Du, always creates something uniquely new by intertwining Chinese and Western cultures, not forgetting the 90s and zero era.

A brand from Seoul that already has a collaboration with Off-White and has a chance to become the main futurists in the tech clothing segment. They are now my numero uno love.

To me, the future belongs to Asian brands – they are experimenting boldly with design and actively making their way into the fashion agenda through the right influencers. Now I want to highlight Vietnamese Fanci and Chinese Marrknull.

Fanci reappeared in 2020 and Olivia Rodrigo walked one of her first jobs. Then they started with bows but then found their own style in sexy ruffles and zeros style pants. Bella Hadid found them there. Already this summer, he took a few items on a tour to promote his drink. Of course, the photo with her pictures “blew up” the Internet, and Fanci’s path to fame and the heart of a fashionista officially began. Fanci customizes things according to the stellar will, but they are always readable. Recently the Vietnamese actress married in a Die Ni dress and this design should be considered by all fashionable brides.

Marrknull debuted at London Fashion Week in February 2022 and has already been featured on the cover of Chinese Vogue. And the brand’s items were successfully walked by Julia Fox, and Katy Perry performed in floor-length denim dresses. The main “chips” of the brand are deconstruction, an unusual cut and a fresh approach. A single bag on the hanger is very valuable.

panconesi
I have been following the jewelry brand Panconesi for a long time, which was founded in 2018 by Marco Panconesi, who is now Swarovski’s design director. I love working with shapes and materials and creating futuristic objects without depriving them of wearability. And I love the brand’s campaigns and catalogs, always stylized by my favorite Georgia Pendlebury: It’s incredible how you can create a whole world with just jewellery.
