EXCLUSIVE: YouTubers and Be sure to come dance Finalist Joe Sugg is one of the talents signed up to perform at the TellyCast Digital Content Forum in London later this month.

British online star Sugg recently founded Final Straw Productions and began acting after gaining online fame, where his YouTube channels have nearly 13 million subscribers. He appeared in the 2018 season of BBC One’s Saturday Night Show strict and is heading to the UK event which takes place on 30 November.

He will join executives from Meta, Snap, Channel 4, ITVX and BBC Studios, as well as Samantha Glynne, the new account manager for the UTA EMEA brand, whose move from Fremantle Deadline recently announced, and the manager of social media stars The Sidemen appear at the event. which takes place at the BFI Southbank, home of the London Film Festival. The conference focuses on digital-first content and will be moderated for the first time by Boom Dialogue’s renowned industry PR Justin Crosby.

BBC Studios has signed on as title sponsor and several executives will appear, including head of digital development Chris Allen and vice president of digital programming Athena Witter, as well as BBC Studios Productions head of brand entertainment Kate Norum and director digital and business development Helen Pendelbury. BBC Head of History Richard Seater also appears.

In addition to multiple sessions throughout the day, the event will offer delegates the opportunity to network with producers, networks, platforms, brands, media agencies, industry associations and the media. Session topics include social publishers, platforms, building intellectual property through podcasts, branded social content and AVOD originals.

Deadline is an event partner alongside Pact, Edinburgh TV Festival Quintus Studios, After Party Studios, Metaverse platform MContent and post-production specialists Racoon.
