Pavel Durov has announced a major update for Telegram. According to the businessman’s post on his Telegram channel, the new version was made available after Apple’s approval.
The entrepreneur said that in the past year Telegram has been almost completely rebuilt. To switch to the 64-bit range, the application and storage structure had to be changed.
“The update is very important to ensure that new users can sign up for Telegram, while existing ones continue to create channels and groups,” Durov said. Said.
The Messenger’s founder added that the new version of Telegram includes “unique features that will expand the messaging experience.”
The entrepreneur also recalled the times when he worked on the social network VKontakte (now we all burst into tears). “I am especially excited for the Telegram update today. I miss the days of VKontakte: at that time I still did not know how to hire engineers and designers, so I worked 20 hours a day, programming and designing everything myself. I am lucky to have the best team of programmers today,” admits Pavel Durov.
