SHEIN, the Chinese online fashion, beauty and lifestyle store, has presented its new collection Autumn-Winter 2022. For this, the company held the parade on September 25 ‘ROCK the runway’, an event attended by international superstars such as Abril Lavigne, Shenseea, Ylona García or the American fashion designer Christian Siriano.
Through this parade, broadcast via the SHEIN mobile application, the company showcased its brands ‘SHEIN’, ‘SHEIN X’, ‘Frenchy’, ‘SXY’, ‘Modely’ and ‘MOD’, as well as its sub-brands ‘ROMWE’, ‘DAZY’ and a special collaboration for your premium brand ‘MOTF’ which they performed with the designer Christian Siriano.
Atypical parade with superstars
SHEIN’s second annual fashion show presented its Fall-Winter 2022 collection in an unusual and inventive way: through performances by professional artists and dancers wearing the suits of SHEIN and their respective brands.
This year the stars were the pop punk icon Avril Lavigne (for ROMWE), Jamaican dancehall sensation Shensee (for SHEIN) and Filipino-Australian singer-songwriter ylona garcia (for DAZY). The ‘After Work’ collection also premiered at the fashion show, which was performed together with the award-winning designer Syrian Christian.
Room for emerging artists
Likewise, with the aim of promoting emerging trends and artists, the parade included the participation of musicians such as: brooke eden (for SHEIN MOD), alexander jean (for SHEIN SXY), Victoria Kimani (for SHEIN BAE), owenn (for SHEIN models), The Future X (for SHEIN X) and Haley Reinhardt (for SHEIN Frenchy).
“The ‘SHEIN Rock The Runway’ fashion show is a unique event that fuses music and fashion,” said Avril Lavigne, one of the star guests, who is currently on tour with her latest album ‘Love Sux’.
