While we are all waiting for the new episode of Avatar to be released in December. In the meantime, read here what awaits us in the sequel to “Avatar: The Path of Water”! James Cameron spoke to reporters and talked about the misunderstandings he encountered in the studio during the filming of the first episode.

In an interview with The New York Times, Cameron recalls clashing with Fox while working on the first movie. Cameron managed to convince the studio that he should be trusted. The director remembers reminding his partners how much money Titanic made (heavy discussion, of course).
“Then I felt that we disagreed on some issues. For example, the studio felt that the movie should have been shorter and had a lot of screen flight – people call them fairy-deaths. By the way, later it turned out that according to exit polls and collected data, it is what viewers like the most.
That’s where I decided to draw the line and said, “You know what? I built the Titanic. The building we’re meeting at now, the new half billion dollar complex – Titanic paid for it all, I can do it,” he told The New York Times.

Recall that the premiere of “Avatar 2” is scheduled for December 14, 2022, and the remaining three episodes will be released biennially – in 2024, 2026 and 2028, respectively. First, the fourth “Avatar” will be released on December 18, 2026.
