Iconic fashion designer Virgil Abloh, founder of Off-White brand and creative director of the Louis Vuitton menswear line, passed away last fall. It was a huge loss for the fashion industry. After his death, the last show of Louis Vuitton SS 22 took place, where they presented a collection with the emblematic name Virgil.

WWD announced today that the Louis Vuitton Foundation is holding a tribute exhibition for Virgil Abloh. The Coming of Age exhibition will take place in Paris from 13-27 April. Virgil’s solo exhibitions have already gone to museums in Paris, Beijing, Milan, New York, Munich, Tokyo and Seoul. For his exhibition, he collected photographs that reveal the themes of childhood and youth. The designer gave students, young and emerging artists an opportunity to make their mark on the entire composition, and visitors were able to collect an album of their favorite images.

Paying homage to creator Virgil Abloh, the exhibition encourages the activity and engagement of visitors, who become the same participants as artists, photographers, musicians and filmmakers themselves,” says the Louis Vuitton Foundation.
