Penelope Cruz stuns in the first look clip titled Venice by Juan Diego Botto ‘On The Fringe’

Written and directed by Botto, the film follows three intertwined characters as they try to be together and go through 24 vital hours that will change their lives. On the edge Explore the impact of economic stress on personal relationships and how friendship and solidarity can help us get through the toughest moments in life. The film is described as “an exciting race against time on the outskirts of a big city”.

In the film, Cruise plays a mother who has 24 hours to avoid losing her home and ending up on the street. She fought tooth and nail to provide for her family, but now faces the challenge of her life.

Cruz stars alongside Luis Tosar, Cristian Checa, Adelfa Calvo, Juan Diego Botto, Aixa Villagran, Font García, María Isabel Diaz Lagos, Sergio Villanueva and Nur Levy.

“On the Fringe explores the impact of an acute external crisis on personal relationships: how an economic crisis can affect couples, parents and children,” Botto said of the film. “And in this, the role women play in keeping families together in difficult times; Like losing a job, losing an income causes different reactions in different people. “
