FKA Twigs and Yung Lean released a Bliss video featuring music from the song “At Dawn” and references to the cult video of Zero Dilemma.
A video of singer FKA Twigs and rapper Yung Lean’s new joint track called Bliss has been released on the network.
In the composition itself and in the video shot by Aidan Zamiri you can find several cultural references at once. So, in the melody you can hear samples from the famous hit “At the Dawn” by the Soviet synth-pop group “Alliance”, recorded in 1987. Interesting fact: Yung Lean, who is also a music writer, is Swedish by nationality, but was born in Minsk (Belarus) in 1996 and spent the first three years of his life there.

The inspiration for the video series was the video of one of the most famous tracks of the 2000s – the song Dilemma performed by Kelly Rowland and rapper Nelly. It came out in 2002.
Parallels can be seen in the footage used in the suburban area and the font used in the video. Another borrowing was the re-creation of a meme frame by typing SMS in an Excel spreadsheet.

The clip of FKA Twigs and Yung Lean was stylized while filming a wild wedding on a video camera far from the fashion capital. The bride is adorned with jewels, the groom flaunts in a printed shirt and satin blazer, and the bridal photo shoot takes place outdoors on a sofa.
