Residents of one of the boroughs of Los Angeles came out to protest the filming of the new episode of “Fast and the Furious.” Representatives of the community of Angelino Heights residents gathered for a peaceful rally. According to Deadline, the cast and crew were greeted by a crowd of protesters who asked them to stop working on a movie promoting street racing and traffic violations.

The protesters’ posters featured photos of people killed in street racing accidents. “Street racing kills,” protesters said. The protest has been heard by authorities, and city council representatives and attendees of the rally will soon meet to discuss the issues and laws of street racing in Los Angeles, Insider reported.

Recall that next year “Fast and the Furious” fans are waiting for the 10th episode of the series, which will be the penultimate film. Not so long ago, rumors appeared on the Web that director Justin Lin will not participate in the production of the picture this time. Variety reports that it only took a week for the producers to find a new director for Fast & Furious. And they became Louis Leterrier. Known for movies like “The Transporter”, “The Transporter 2”, “The Incredible Hulk”, “Illusion of Deception” and “Dani the Watchdog”.
