Macho and Nerd, Super Peppers and Knocked Up star Jonah Hill wrote an open letter stating that his films will no longer be featured in promotional campaigns as it could harm his mental health. As the 38-year-old actor and director admits, he has been battling panic attacks for nearly 20 years, and media communications and appearing at public events exacerbate them.

Deadline published Hill’s letter ahead of the release of his new documentary, Stutz. The tape will describe Jonah’s communication with his psychotherapist, Phil Stutz. The actor began visiting this specialist in 2017 and turned to him on the advice of Joaquin Phoenix. In the movie, Hill and Stutz discuss Jonah’s mental health issues.
