Kutcher’s health problems became known on Monday, when a teaser appeared for the new edition of the National Geographic show in which the actor participated.

On the show, Ashton mentioned that he has vasculitis, a rare autoimmune disease that affects his blood vessels. Because of him, Kutcher almost lost the ability to see, hear and walk. The actress noted that her recovery took a year, but now she is completely healthy. According to Kutcher, her agonizing experience with vasculitis allowed her to take a fresh look at her health and realize that she never fully understood how important the senses were until she almost lost them.

The news excited Kutcher’s fans, so he hastened to reassure them by writing a post on Twitter (blocked in the Russian Federation).

Kutcher added that he plans to run the New York City Marathon this November.

Kutcher did not specify when or why the health problems started, but the actor remained low-profile during the pandemic and only shared a few posts on Instagram*.
