If HBO and Prime Video are about to explode all scores with House of the Dragon (August 21) e The Lord of the Rings: The rings of power (September 2), Netflix is also in starting blocks.
In a little over a week we will find out the first eleven episodes from Sandmanhis new dark fantasy series whose output is set at 5th August.

An ambitious and promising series
The story tells the story of Morpheusplayed by Tom Sturridge (Good morning England). After years of imprisonment, the lord of dreams will travel across the worlds and temporalities to regain his power. On his way, he will have to face many of demons and other nightmares.
23 July Deadline reported that the series was a “A rich blend of modern myth and dark fantasy in which contemporary fiction, historical drama and legend intertwine seamlessly. “ Actually, there is reason to expect success since the series is directed by cult author Neil Gaiman who created the original graphic novels. Published between 1989 and 1996the latter constitute an important work, such asAmerican godsby Neil Gaiman himself.
