Chunks gained worldwide fame when a member of South Korean group Blackpink admitted that she always carries the brand’s product with her in her “What’s in My Bag” video for Korean Vogue. The result was immediate: sales of the brand’s accessories increased by 3,000% after the release of the video.

It is impossible not to say that since the Alexander Wang 2018/2019 autumn-winter show, crabs have “crept into” Olympus fashion and only the pandemic and general conformity in clothes has accelerated the process. But due to the “nature” of a marine animal, the element quite logically only hit the masses in the summer of 2022.

Searches for “flower crabs” in the US tripled in June of this year, and searches for “plain crabs” rose 850%, according to Google data.
