The London Times reports that Andrew will take on his new role in the coming months and the royal couple hope he will be a powerful public relations advocate ahead of the Prince of Wales’ accession to the throne.
Andrea’s choice has caught the attention of some, as her 20-year employer, Associated Newspapers, was previously on the other side of two lawsuits filed by Charles’s son Harry and his wife. the Duchess of Sussex. .
Speaking to the BBC last year, Andrea revealed that her newspaper has “very, very strong points of view that not everyone agrees with, which surprises me a lot”.
Andrew will be paid from the private income of the Prince of the Duchy of Cornwall.
