Strangers Things season 4: the editor’s fantasies (about the majors, huh)

That’s it, Upside Down is on hiatus until next season’s release in 2023. And for once, we pretty much all agree that we loved the episodes and can’t wait to see the next ones. Let’s say it’s a change from season 3 which was as bad as a can of celeriac microwaved at a gas station.

If you’ve been reading Madmoizelle for a while, you may remember that we enjoyed sharing our completely stupid fantasies about public figures with you. This time we start again with the almost complete cast of Stranger Things, because why not, we also have the right to fantasize about furry rockers or watches full of vines, who we are after all to judge.

For Audrey (To miss) : the Russian charm of Enzo / Dmitri Antonov (Tom Wlaschiha)

Me, this season, my crush is on the Slavic side of the series. I usually hate blondes, and I wasn’t at all fond of him when he was a prison guard in Russia, but as long as he was in the same situation as Hooper, it made me want to start collecting matryoshkas for my fireplace. The rebellious side of him, a little dirty for the good cause, his friendly crush on Hooper, his loyalty and piercing gaze of a boy who sees far in the snow gave me little vapors that can easily warm anyone in Siberia .

For Nino (Numerama): Robin’s endearing clumsiness (Maya Hawke)

Appeared in the third season of Stranger Things, I immediately liked it. Her sailor dress, her short wavy hair, her haughty air and his sarcasm. In the episodes, he has proven to be smarter than those two jerks Steve and Dustin. He literally spat in the face of a Russian soldier.

Besides being super fun, she’s also brave. In season 4, she’s adorably goofy and totally lesbian (Nancy, make an effort and open your eyes, OF COURSE she’s super gay and she’s not in love with Steve at all?). She is ready to launch with her eyes closed to accompany Steve and Nancy on their adventure and to throw Molotov cocktails at this dirty character who is Vecna. Really too bad. And she dresses too well. In short, Robin is adorable, clumsy, intelligent, too cute, she has an unmatched sense of humor and style and she is not afraid of anything. Well, aside from the anger.

For Louise (Numerama): her crush on Nancy (Natalia Dyer) and her hair

Without her, we wouldn’t have had the toughest scene of season 4, I’m obviously talking about my crush Nancy with her gun not holding back from any obstacle. And that’s what I appreciate about Nancy (besides her perfect brushing and her friendship with Robin), she is for me the most enterprising character of this season and she doesn’t hesitate to develop elaborate plans to save the people she loves (come and save me indeed Nancy !)

For Coralie (Madmoizelle): her crush on Vecna (when it has its form 001)

There is a lot of talk about Vecna’s character before she becomes Vecna ​​herself. Okay, tentacles may be a fantasy for many, but I confess I don’t eat that bread.

My crush is really on version 001, the pre-big-rage version of Eleven, the lab version of the character. I don’t know if it’s his mysterious and falsely posed air, his deep voice, his very charming dimples or the little lock on his side, but it’s impossible for me to remain indifferent to his charm. The little bonus is the whole story around the character, his evolution and, we’re not going to lie to each other, his tortured side and his feeling of being out of step with the rest of the world, which makes him endearing (and a little sexy). After that, the crush is clearly physical: sociopaths twisting their victims’ limbs and poking out their eyes, that’s not really my thing.

For Manon (Madmoizelle): Hopper (David Harbor) and the best light up

In previous seasons, Hopper was the goofy guy with a big mustache and flowery shirts, well, he didn’t have his disgusting cop uniform back then. In season 4, ever since he nearly died and was locked up in a Russian camp with guards who don’t seem to have had an easy childhood, he’s transformed. From being a loser, he has become a limit sex symbol, a shine worthy of the name. And of course I’m not immune to it. Do I have a problem with guys who are a bit tough, dirty and with a troubled past? Perhaps.

For Serine (Frandroid): Eddie the rocker (Joseph Quinn)

Watching the latest season of Stranger Things, I had a huge crush on Edward Munson’s character, says Eddie. I don’t know if it’s the long hair, the geeky side or the musician, but I got in touch with him right away. He reminded me of my high school crushes where I had my goth metal days. Although he seems strange, he is a person who has a big heart and is very kind. Finally, he is perhaps the mixture of everything that he made me crack like the whole twittosphere. Small mention to the actor Joseph Quinn who plays the role of him very well.
