First official portrait of Kate Middleton and Prince William revealed

The first official portrait of Kate Middleton and Prince William has surfaced. The painting, by renowned British portrait painter Jamie Coret, was commissioned as a gift to Cambridgeshire by the Cambridgeshire Royal Portrait Trust of Cambridgeshire Public Trust in 2021. The portrait is on display at the Fitzwilliam Museum at Cambridge University.

The Dukes of Cambridge visited the Fitzwilliam Museum today during their visit to Cambridgeshire to celebrate the county’s birthday. Prince William, who saw the painting, commented that it was “pretty big” and added that it was “great”.
