By the age of 35, Elizaveta Porodina has already made a name for herself abroad: she collaborated with many fashion brands and glossy publications, and has many solo exhibitions.

Porodina was born in Moscow, but has lived in Munich since 2000. After leaving school, she worked as a clinical psychologist and researched eating disorders, and in her spare time she drew search books for familiar models. It was then that the Carolina Herrera and Louis Vuitton brands drew attention to her. Now Porodina shoots for Vogue (she shot Natalia Vodianova and Irina Shayk for the Russian issue, and Adriana Lima for the Arabic issue), collaborates with such world-famous brands as GQ, Time, The Cut and other publications, as well as Hugo Boss and Louis Vuitton . . Porodina works at the intersection of photography and painting, so her individual style attracts major publications. While in quarantine, she managed to capture 50 online zoom shots for The Cut, including a photo shoot of pregnant Chloe Sevigny.

Brad Pitt’s sensational shot for the cover of GQ is also the work of Elizaveta Porodina. On the set, the actress posed in vintage clothes, and also appeared in the image of Shakespeare’s Ophelia – the reference was a picture of the British artist John Everett Millais.

– Porodina told the magazine “Direct speech” about her creative method and the process of birth of concepts.
