New episodes of The Bridgertons aired on March 25. Daphne Bridgerton looks radiant this season as she did in the first season, and Queen Charlotte continues to impress us with her extraordinary hair and make-up.
Of all the characters from last season, Daphne experienced the biggest change. She officially debuted, got married, and had a child. “Now she feels confident, she knows how to dress and look good,” says Erika Oquist, the show’s lead makeup artist. “She matured more when she was younger, but still as calm and beautiful as before.”
We met Kate and her younger sister Edwina last season. Kate is strong and determined – this is reflected in her make-up for the new season. But it was Queen Charlotte who deserved our most attention. “This is her uniform,” the makeup artist describes the queen’s glamorous hair and makeup. “He’s supposed to shoot people.” Indeed, no one in the room – not even the apple of the season – is allowed to pass it by.
