Holder’s access to the first family isn’t the only reason the January 6 committee is interested in her photos, though.
In an interview with Deadline, Holder said the committee also reviewed footage from January 6, when he was filming not only at Trump’s Ellipse rally that morning, but also walking with the cinematographer in the event of the Capitol chaos. DP was hacked and part of the camera was broken.

“I thought beforehand that he knew it was bullshit, and so there will eventually come a time when he can’t keep up with the bullshit, because eventually the evidence will be there,” he said. “The thing is, there is evidence and he still holds his position categorically. The thing is, he’s passionate about this belief, not recognizing all the evidence against what he’s saying, which to me means he lives in a reality that most people don’t.
About a month after the election they began to believe they could launch a documentary project for distributors, “and then frankly, everything changed,” Holder said.
The night before January 6, Holder texted his DP and half jokingly said, “I think the President is calling everyone to go to Capitol Hill tomorrow. So he came up with a plan for how to deal with his practicality. ”
They arrived the next day to film the rally because at the time it was “clear that something was most likely going to happen to stop it. [the electoral vote count] Or the pressure on the vice president that day.”
He said he reached an agreement with Discovery+ last year after handing over the project to various distributors. They plan to launch it this summer, but the plans have been kept secret so far. Holder declined to say why he made this discovery, saying it was a question for them.

Two Danish filmmakers working on a project about Roger Stone have reportedly been dismissed by the committee AND the Ministry of Justice is requesting footage that references journalistic independence. But Holder took the call and decided to collaborate with filmmaker Nick Quest, who was working on a documentary about the proud children of the far-right group.
“I think both positions are valid,” Holder said. “For me, after seeing the public hearings and seeing the materials presented, I knew the material at hand, namely the events of January 6, they stood up not to give them away. We just finished the movie. It was supposed to come out in a few months and it coincided with the call. “Trying to fight didn’t make much sense, especially in light of the footage we shot.” He declined to elaborate on what the material was because “because they’re reviewing it now”.
He also said he would testify publicly before the committee if asked. “Of course,” he said.
He said he hasn’t heard from Trump or his team since the call was leaked. While he did not reveal other details of the project, such as an interview with Vice President Mike Pence, he noted that there would be no footage of Trump doubting his election claims.
“He really has an unconfirmed position,” Holder said. “He believes the election was rigged and stolen, which is an irrational, dangerous and stupid view, and we’ve seen what he did and what caused it.
