The previous day, his daughters Rumera, Scout, Talulah, Evelyn and Mabel, as well as his wife Emma and ex-wife Demi Moore, shared a post on social networks where they talked about the actor’s diagnosis.

“We would like to share that our beloved Bruce has suffered from some health issues and was recently diagnosed with aphasia affecting his cognitive abilities. As a result, and with great regret, Bruce is ending a career that has meant so much to him,” they began.

“This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so grateful for your continued love, compassion and support. As Bruce always says: “Live to the fullest” and we plan to do just that together,” they concluded.

Remember that aphasia is an acquired speech disorder that can occur after brain injury (stroke, head injury, tumors, or inflammation in the brain). As a result of aphasia, all language skills are affected: speaking, understanding, reading, writing.
