The cat named Puzik saved its owner in the fire in the apartment in Saratov. Reported by RIA Novosti.
A fire broke out in an apartment on the first floor of the building. The man who lived there was asleep at the time of the incident, but the cat managed to wake him up. “Suddenly the cat Puzik began to bite and scratch his hand, he meowed. “The man woke up and saw that the TV was on and the apartment was filled with smoke,” she said.
The man escaped from the apartment, but did not have time to hastily pick up the cat. Rescuers who arrived at the scene found Puzik in the corner of one of the rooms, the animal had convulsions. The fire was quickly extinguished.
Employees of the Ministry of Emergencies took the cat outside, pumped it out with an oxygen cylinder for about 20 minutes. Then the owner’s daughter took Puzik to the veterinary clinic. Now experts are helping him, but the cat’s condition is no longer in danger.
