Today, the Fitzwilliam Museum unveiled the first official portrait of Kate Middleton and Prince William.

The work was painted according to all the established traditional rules of royal portraiture. The drawing style is lines that have historically been used to create an atmosphere of royalty, longevity and power.

The image was created by artist Jamie Koret, who had previously drawn Princess Anne, Prince William’s aunt. The painting was commissioned last year by the Cambridgeshire Royal Portrait Trust as a gift to the county. “Being chosen to do this painting was the most extraordinary privilege of my life. I wanted to show Her Royal Highness in such a way that she looked both comfortable and accessible, elegant and dignified, ”says the master, his impressions of the painting.

“Since this is the first portrait they have been shown together, and especially during their time as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, I wanted the painting to evoke a sense of balance between their public and private lives. This piece was commissioned as a gift to the people of Cambridgeshire and I hope they enjoy it as much as I enjoy making it.”

Let’s remind, it was previously reported that the couple is preparing to act strongly and fundamentally. And she has already chosen a new home – Adelaide Cottage.
