A new study proves that caffeine can increase the duration of people’s attempts to cope with difficult or dissolved tasks, PSYPOST.

The study was conducted in three stages with the participation of 329 students of Amrst College. The researchers used the tasks compiled, especially to have insoluble parts, which allowed the participants to evaluate how long they would take to try after fulfilling the allowed part.
After the stress test, the participants chewed chewing gum containing zero or 100 milligrams of caffeine and completed the search for hidden images. The researchers found that stress improved the execution of the homework: Stress -faster participants found more appropriate objects than those who did not experience stress.

Stress and caffeine on perseverance was also noticed. Among the participants with stress, caffeine areas were more permanent and spent more time to search for an object that could not find compared to participants who did not accept caffeine. On the contrary, among the participants who have not experienced stress, caffeine, apparently reduced determination.
