The prohibited substance TPO gives bright shine to the nails and accelerates drying under the influence of UV- or LED radiation. However, after a few studies showing that it could cause fertility problems and may adversely affect reproductive health, it was accepted as toxic in the EU.

In Europe, some chemicals, including BHA and BHT and Yoga-Mat in some countries, have long been banned. The EU counted health risks very high and called TPO as “carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic for the reproductive system”.

Some experts argue that the proof of the relationship between TPO and negative health results is mainly obtained during the animal research, and that the ban is more than a preventive measure.

Recently, recall that scientists are talking about contraceptive tablets about the effect of women’s brain.
