A teacher of the history of magic, which is defined as a ghost that continues to teach even after his death in the novels, is officially approved for the role.
Harry Potter’s restarting from HBO deepens the books and one of the most strange shortcomings of the original films – Professor Katbert Binns. This will be the first appearance of the character in film adaptation. Binns will be played by the British actor Richard Deden, known for his film “Ghosts” and “Agora”.
Professor Binns has always been a kind of anomaly in the books: he never talked to other employees, did not attend school -wide events, and the rest of his castle ghosts almost paid attention to him.
According to Pottermore Canon, Binns fell asleep in front of the fireplace one night, died in his chair, and the next morning he got up with a ghost and continued to teach as if nothing had happened.
