In the Houve, in the south of England, Oxfam Charity bookstore Nick Cave became a real pilgrimage point of fans. The reason for this was an unusual action: the musician gave about 2000 books from his personal collection to the store, which led to a real excitement among the fans.

It turned out that the collection was incredibly diverse: philosophy, religion, art, fiction, rare publications and even kitchen books. As one of the stores pointed out, the books were clearly the ways of Cayba – many of them were old and well preserved. Among the findings of Salman Rushdi, Ian Mceueen, Christopher Hitchens’ work, the first edition of Johnny Kash’s autobiography, and even Aphrodisiac Recipes.
Some examples, such as landing coupons, cards and notes, such as a cave, such as handwriting notes or place marks. One of the books was signed by playwright by playwright Martin McDonach, and the other could find a statement emphasized with the characteristic handwriting of the musician.
People began to flock to the store on Friday and a line lined up in front of the entrance at the weekend. The buyers sought books with “cave signs – – emphasized expressions, personal notes, traces of the last owner, now weird works for fans.
Cave representatives did not comment on the action, but only the musician said that the findings in the books wanted small riddles for those who will take them. Judging by excitement, the idea worked – the collection not only won new owners, but also revived the whole city.
