The biggest comet in history flew to the solar system

In the solar system, a large ice object is noticed in C/2014 UN271 (Bernardelli-Bernstein) a comet. NASA is significantly superior to all previously observed comets.

The object is called “megacomet”. It is about 100 times higher than ordinary comet stars and approaches the sun. The minimum distance between celestial bodies will be achieved in 2031.

Scientists say the cosmic guest does not represent dangers for the world. But it is extremely interesting to work. In particular, astronomers want to know what they contain to understand how the object will behave as the sun approaches.

C/2014 UN271 was first discovered in 2014. Initially, the diameter of the comet was assumed to be 370 kilometers, but the reviewed data shows that it was about 140 kilometers.

Recently, scientists have found that Antarctica’s ice sent a signal that science could not explain. Discovery was made during the Anita experiment. Cosmic particles detectors should be started by ice on ice balloons. The result of the study was unexpected for physicists. The impulses were expected from space, but it was taken from the ground.

For the first time, the registration to the solar system blew the largest comet in all history.
