Special: Here’s a clip starring Leticia Wright and Josh O’Connor Ayse Opens in three days in Tribeca.
Wright plays a young Nigerian woman who takes refuge in Ireland and collapses in a maze of social services and bureaucracy. As her condition worsens, she struggles to maintain her hope and dignity in the face of the threat of deportation.
Wright said of the clip: “This moment is crucial for Aisha, she needs to keep her cool in an incredibly difficult moment.”
Frank Berry is producing the film, which will have its world premiere in Tribeca’s Spotlight Narrative. (Michael Inside, I lived here) and also features Wreath Breut O’Connor.
Producers are Tristan Orpen Lynch, Donna Eperon, Ayofe O’Sullivan and Sam Bisby. Cornerstone sells in the US and internationally.
