He had previously been accused of plagiarism. Moreover, the lawyer who was previously on the other side now represents him in the lawsuit against Blake. TMZ reported this.
Brian Friedman, the law firm currently representing Baldoni, filed the lawsuit on behalf of Travis Flores in 2021. The lawyer claimed that the man wrote the script for the movie Three Feet Apart, based on his own life. The lawsuit stated that Flores was working with Justin on another project and received the script without his knowledge. After this, the actor and part-time director shot the movie “A Meter Apart”, based on his colleague’s script, stealing Travis’ idea.
Flores, with the help of attorney Friedman, sued Baldoni for copyright and contract violations. It was reported that the case was concluded and the man died last year. The star lawyer has apparently gone from being a legal rival to an ardent supporter of Baldoni, defending his client’s interests in numerous lawsuits against Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds and everyone else involved.
