Viewers won’t be able to see Robert Pattinson don a superhero costume anytime soon. The producers postponed the premiere.

The time skip is important. Although the premiere was originally planned for October 2026, it has now been moved forward a year. According to Deadline, the new release date of the film has been determined as October 1, 2027.

Shooting of the second episode will begin in a few months. The filmmakers will have to seriously try to get the serious time period right. According to the plot, the events of the new film unfold two weeks after the first. In fact, there will be more than five years between them when the sequel is released.

Let us also remind you that Zoe Kravitz (Catwoman), Paul Dano (The Riddler) and Andy Serkis (Alfred) will star in Batman 2, along with Robert Pattinson. In the sequel, the role of Barry Keoghan, who befriended the Riddler at the end of the first film and was introduced as the mysterious inmate of Arkham Asylum, is expected to be expanded.

Recently, a confirmation appeared on the Internet that Batman is from Russia. We wrote the details of this incredible story here.
