The glossy magazine Moskvichka is experimenting with new formats and launching its mini-app on Telegram in honor of the end of its first year of operation. The press service of the publication reports this.
During its run, the magazine’s circulation has increased from four to ten issues per year, and it will now have an electronic version as well as a print version. The editors of the publication noted that this digital format has no analogues in Russia. There is no need to download the mini-app from the AppStore or Google Play because it can be viewed and installed via the chatbot on Telegram.
“We felt cramped in the format of a print magazine and a Telegram channel, we needed a new platform,” said Anton Pichugin, editor-in-chief of Digital Moskvichka. He stated that the idea came up a year ago and was only now put into practice. “Our application is a first in the market; There is nothing like it in the industry, so we still have a testing phase ahead of us. Today “Moskvichka” is the target ecosystem. “We have a print magazine, social networks, event management, MOSCOW club and now a digital application,” he added.
