Crimea is the pearl of Russia, where such famous Soviet films as “Amphibian Man”, “Treasure Island”, “Captain Grant’s Children”, “Prisoner of the Caucasus”, “The Man from Capuchin Avenue” and others were shot. . It was all shot at the Yalta Film Studio, but a lot has changed since then. In the 90s the studio fell into disrepair and it was time to restore it.
As part of the Bridge film festival in Sudak from December 13 to 15, not only new films of 2024 were shown, but also new pavilions and shooting locations were opened. Now this is where the new movie will be shot. For your convenience, we have prepared a mini guide to the Tavrida art cluster, a platform that brings together representatives of creative industries.
What is interesting in the art cluster “Tavrida”?
For guests with soul

If the theater begins with a hanger, the Bridge Film Festival begins with the guest courtyard, where the information center and Luch cafeteria are located so everyone can warm up with drinks during the winter movie season. Here, guests are given a festive program and pleasant gifts. For example, this time everyone was given an instant camera and it was very useful because everyone took lots of photos.
Then the guests got on golf carts and went wherever they went, because residential buildings here coexist with creative workshops. The area is quite large, but we were primarily interested in Meganom Creative Industries Academy and Yug content studio. Kino” is the newest and unique shooting complex. We will tell you more about them.
For artistic people with soul
Most of the buildings of Meganom Creative Industries Academy are connected to each other by roads that turn into bridges. It’s not only beautiful, but also useful enough to get from one point to another quickly. Thanks to this architectural solution, the view of the entire Tavrida art cluster, mountains and sea can be seen from every point. You can take very nice photos from here. There is access to the beach, as well as numerous coffee shops, and there is a motor ship “Bagration” on the seashore.
Conference rooms are large and learning activities are diverse. Meganom, for example, hosted VK conferences where experts told how to make films with a minimum budget. Cinema professionals also gave master classes on acting, creating prosthetic makeup in horror movies, using neural networks in filmmaking, the impact of cinema on the psyche, organizing shooting processes, creating reality shows and how to make art profitable.

There is a lot of free space between buildings where master classes, lectures and film screenings are held. In winter, the center is decorated with a Christmas tree inside a so-called glass snow globe, which is illuminated in different colors at night. Even though there is no snow in December, there is a festive atmosphere in the air as all the buildings are illuminated with different colors.
During the festival, two art objects were added to Tavrida Park: “Temporitmy” and “Supernova”. They were created by the artist, a teacher at the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences Viktor Polyakov. If the first art object needs to be examined in motion, as it shows different aspects of art from different perspectives, the second sculpture stands for the supernova “Hourglass”, from which new stars will burn, as the author himself expected. at the film festival.
New locations and pavilions for filming
To the joy of the film crew

Our country is big and beautiful, so developing the infrastructure for filming is very important. The main difficulty for filmmakers is the banal lack of conditions for creating films. Almost everything you need is in Moscow, but there is no sea or such beautiful places there. For this reason, “South” was built specifically in the “Tavrida” art cluster. Cinema”, where there are large soundproof pavilions (and this is very important, since the place is windy), an editing room, dressing rooms, a room for viewing films in production and much more. Technical equipment is currently being purchased.
To the taste of the audience
At the bridge festival, the pavilions were transformed into “Sea”, “Air” and “Mountains” movie theaters, where most of the films in the program were shown. All of the audience seats consist of prefabricated structures, making the halls multifunctional. Also on the map of Tavrida you can see a lot of empty space – a large film town will be built here for filming. Some of it will be permanent, somewhere, on the contrary, it will be a temporary scene for the shooting of a particular movie.
