Josh Brolin (The Case of the Brave, Dune, Dune: Part Two) talked about his reaction to James Cameron’s refusal to star in the Avatar sequel.
The 56-year-old actor has revealed how he refused to appear as a new character in Avatar: The Path of Water, 13 years after the first episode aired. The 70-year-old said he was “angry” that the director refused to join the cast.
“I heard you were upset. I understand your feelings, when a person has status and power as well as ideas, he gets used to others expressing gratitude for his suggestions. Since I don’t know him well enough, I can’t say whether that’s really the case in his case. But I think it’s about the project, not his personality.” It is worth noting that Brolin did not comment on the specific reasons for his refusal to participate in the project.
It was previously known that James Cameron was going to shoot a film about the tragedy in Hiroshima. Read more about this here.
