“If we unite, we can save the world”, this sentence is very suitable to describe the incident that took place at the Semifreddo restaurant in Moscow the other day. The annual charity dinner auction “White Truffle” by Maxim Kashirin, founder of the Simple group of companies, raised 39 million rubles for the Life Line Foundation. The money will be spent on the treatment of seriously ill children.
Guests were served collectible alcohol. The restaurant’s chef, Nino Graziano, also prepared a special menu using Piedmont mushrooms. But it’s not all a surprise! Italian clothing brand Falconeri gave everyone customized gloves made of ultra-soft cashmere and a cashmere blanket to the biggest buyer.
The auction included 14 lots from famous wine brands. Meanwhile, the organizers offered guests a one-of-a-kind set of 12 50&50 wines (an equal tandem of Sangiovese and Merlot – Note ed.), including the first vintage of 1988. It is noteworthy that many of them are not for sale.
As a reminder, this is not Simple Group’s first charity event in November. The “No Bear” project had been implemented before.
