Yulia Snigir has a new role – this time the actress will play the mother of a child with cerebral palsy in the series “Mayak”, according to RBC news. Filming is taking place in Karelia and the premiere of the project is expected to take place in 2025.
The plot follows high school student Yegor, who lives with his parents and younger brother in a small northern town and suffers from a severe form of cerebral palsy. Yegor’s father works as a police officer, and Lilya’s mother is an emergency doctor. Both parents were buried in work to spend less time at home due to the tense atmosphere. A big test occurs in the life of the family: one day, when Yegor fell asleep, his younger brother drowned. This tragedy comes as a heavy blow to them, but it soon becomes clear that this is only the beginning of their troubles.
The project also stars Sergei Gilev, Evgeniy Kuntsevich, Makar Khlebnikov, Marina Vasilyeva, Anna Osipova, Anastasia Imamova, Yana Sexte and others. Ilya Malakhova directed the series. By the way, he previously participated in the San Sebastian International Film Festival with the movie “Hello, Mom”.
