The queen may have decided to miss a music concert held as part of the platinum anniversary celebrations, but that hasn’t stopped her from stealing the show with an unexpected role in the skit to kick off the event.
Spectators and live audiences watched in amazement as Paddington found the bear in the corridors of Buckingham Palace, where he soon sat down to tea with His Majesty. Within five minutes they served tea and compared it to jam sandwiches.
Late in the evening, the two royal princes took the stage to express their personal love at the Palace Platinum party, the third night of the UK’s Jubilee.
Princes Charles and William took turns speaking to the crowd, including 22,000 frontline workers who held tickets to a concert outside Buckingham Palace, the Queen’s official home in London.
Charles, the monarch’s eldest son, took the stage with his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, to pay homage to his mother. “Thank you from your family, from the country, from the community, indeed, from all over the world. On behalf of all of us, I wanted to pay homage to your selfless service, with images, words and light ”. (Spectacular lights swirl around the building)
“Your family has now four generations. You are the head of our state and you are our mother. The strength and presence of him (the late Duke of Edinburgh) was greatly missed tonight. But I’m sure it’s here in spirit. My father would love to host the show and join us wholeheartedly in celebrating all that you continue to do for your country and your people.
“Let’s think about everything he has done to make the community such a force. You keep making history.
“I know what wakes my mother in the morning, all of you ladies and gentlemen. All of you who look home … Your Majesty, you have been with us in our difficult times and you have united us to celebrate moments of pride, joy and happiness.
“You guys met and talked, laughed and cried with us, and most of all, you have been there for 70 years. You have promised to serve for a lifetime. You keep delivering. This is why we are here. This is what we celebrate tonight … so we thank everyone. “
His eldest son, William, honored the efforts of the royal family, particularly in conserving wildlife and protecting the land.
“Even though my grandmother doesn’t thank anyone for talking about her age, my grandmother has been around for almost a century …
“The urgency to protect our planet has never been so urgent. “Like him, I’m optimistic”.
At the concert, Diana Ross, Niall Rogers and Alicia Keys joined British surnames like Queen, Sir Rod Stewart and Sir Elton John.
