Bruce Willis’ youngest daughters were the first to notice their father’s illness. This happened before the doctors made a decision.
Willis, 69, has frontotemporal dementia. The public learned about his diagnosis two years ago, but, according to the star’s wife, the first symptoms of the disease appeared much earlier. When the actor was diagnosed, Mabel and Evelyn, who were involved in the actor’s marriage to Emma Hamming, were already aware that he was ill. Both girls were not even ten years old then.

“I didn’t try to sugarcoat anything for them. They grew up with Bruce, who got progressively worse over the years. I didn’t try to protect them. When we finally got the diagnosis, I learned what frontotemporal dementia was and was able to teach it to our children,” Heming, 46, said in a new interview with Town & Country magazine.
Unfortunately, there has been no improvement in Bruce’s health in recent months. Previously, Demi Moore opened up about how her three daughters helped her cope with her ex-husband’s diagnosis. The actor, who was married to a Hollywood star, had three daughters.
