The last photo of “Harry Potter” star Maggie Smith, taken at one of her favorite restaurants a week before her death, has surfaced online. The Daily Mail reports this.
A week before he passed away, the actor felt well and even visited his favorite institutions. Maggie visited Lemonia restaurant in Primrose Hill, where she opted for a smart look consisting of a baby blue shirt, jeans and sneakers. See the photo here. The anonymous source of the publication claims that the actor that day, in his usual manner, made a remark to the young men who were disturbing the visitors. The insider compared this to the scene where Professor McGonagall describes Hermione, Harry and Ron.
As a reminder, Maggie Smith died on August 27 at the age of 89. Citing the artist’s publicist, the AP reported: “Maggie Smith, who won an Oscar in 1969 for The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie and won new fans in the 21st century for her role as the Dowager Countess of Grantham in Downton Abbey, has died.”
Maggie Smith has won two Oscars, seven BAFTAs, three Golden Globes, three Emmys, a Tony Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. She was named Dame Commander of the British Empire in 1989 and was inducted into the US Actors Hall of Fame in 1994.
