Taylor Swift decided to “increase” her popularity only as a singer. Soon her works may appear on bookstore shelves.
The Sun writes that the star recently registered a trademark for the title and rights to her debut novel. Taylor wrote a book called A Girl Called Girl when she was still in her teens.
Swift explained how she decided to write the book while on tour in 2012: “All my friends were back in Pennsylvania, so I had nothing to do. Then it hit me. I’m going to be a novelist, and I’m going to write novels. That’s going to be my career path.”
But the story never saw the light of day. The new trademark covers not only the text of the book, but also its related merchandise and audio versions, giving fans hope that Taylor’s work will finally see the light of day.
