Four young men have decided to take legal action against Kanye West, claiming the rapper forced them to perform backbreaking and degrading work for inadequate wages.
The young men also fear that the rapper could harm them and their families and are calling for stronger protection of justice. Each of the plaintiffs has expressed a desire to participate in these proceedings under pseudonyms to avoid prosecution.
“Child plaintiffs believe that publicly disclosing their true identities would increase the risk of emotional and psychological harm to themselves and their families,” a youth advocate told In Touch Weekly.
The teens, aged 14 to 17, also made other allegations against Ye in the lawsuit, including overtime, hostility and fraud. The plaintiffs said they were hired to work on the rapper’s streaming service app and promote his new album.
