In Rome, Daniel Licuori was detained after breaking into someone else’s house with the intention of robbery but was interested in reading a book, and as a result, the criminal was arrested. This was reported by Nova.

The man reportedly entered someone else’s house from the balcony. He had a bag of evidence: designer clothes stolen from other apartments. The robber would probably take the things he liked without delay, as he did in other places, but something caught his attention.
On the nightstand he saw a book by Giovanni Nucci called “Gods Under Six: The Iliad at Aperitif Time”. He was so fascinated by the work that he didn’t even notice how the owner of the apartment woke up and called the police. Daniel tried to justify himself by saying that he had an appointment on the roof and fell from there directly onto the balcony, but nothing came of it.
Meanwhile, the author of the book, having learned of what had happened, wants to meet the man himself to give him a copy of the work. He is worried that Liquori never finished reading the manuscript. Ironically, it turns out that Giovanni Nucci lives 300 meters from the scene of the robbery.
