Alain Delon passed away last weekend. The Brigitte Bardot Fund for Animals, citing relatives, said the star’s dog Loubo would not be euthanized, despite Delon’s wishes.
“Do not worry about Lubo! Many people sent us letters about the fate of Alain Delon’s dog. “He has a home and a family,” the actor’s relatives confirmed, “they will take care of him. Lubo will not be euthanized!” – says a message published on social networks.
It should also be noted that the actor said in an interview with Paris Match magazine in 2018 that he was very attached to the dog and wanted it to be euthanized immediately after its death.
Alain Delon died on August 18 at the age of 88. In recent years, the actor became seriously ill. In 2019, he suffered a stroke and planned to end his life through euthanasia. The artist also had oncology and Alzheimer’s disease.
The first to react to this tragedy were the star’s children: “Alain-Fabien, Anushka, Anthony and Loubeau report with great sadness the passing of their father. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.”
